ENTER MAGPAD

Using solenoid magnets, MagPAD can access the aortic valve through the venous access side.  Venous access is safer due to low pressure circulation and controllability.  This innovative method also allows the introduction of other devices from the venous to the arterial system (hemodynamic support devices, dialysis and other fistula creation, percutaneous vascular bypass in patients with occluded peripheral arteries).  The technology of MagPAD has many potential applications in the medical field.
